Meet Forest, Founder & Coach at Lightning Run Co
I’m Forest, a running coach based in Melbourne and the founder of Lightning Run Co.
I work with runners of all levels, from those building confidence and consistency, to athletes chasing personal bests, using a personalised, human-first approach to coaching.
My focus is simple: structured training, open communication, and long-term progress that fits your life, not the other way around.

My journey in sport began with a deep love for football, playing competitively across the UK and Australia throughout his younger years.
In 2019, everything shifted when he was casually encouraged to run the Queenstown Marathon. With no formal running background, Forest took on the challenge, and discovered a passion that would shape the next chapter of his life.
After several years of self-coached training, Forest joined Evolve Run Club in early 2022. Surrounded by a supportive running community, he developed a deeper understanding of training fundamentals, consistency, and race preparation.
Since then, Forest has gone on to win local races and place competitively across events in Victoria, proof of what structured, patient training can achieve.
Today, Forest is focused on giving back to the running community through Lightning Run Co., helping runners of all levels build confidence, consistency, and long-term performance, whether that means finishing a first 5km or chasing a marathon PB.
